Is the UN biased against Israel?

Short answer: The UN's political organs are structurally skewed against Israel — measurably, by counts rather than adjectives — because voting blocs (the 56-state Organization of Islamic Cooperation and ~120-state Non-Aligned Movement) hold an automatic General Assembly majority. But "the UN" is two different things under one name, and the honest answer covers both: the political chambers whose votes are arithmetic, and the technical agencies whose field data this site itself relies on. The claim "the UN is against Israel" is true of the first, unproven and mostly false of the second — and the UN also created Israel.

The tool: ask two questions of every "the UN says" claim

Which organ? By what process? A General Assembly vote is member-state arithmetic wearing the costume of a verdict. A WHO vaccination count is checkable field data.
